Buskers in the ‘Burg

Saturday, September 24 | 10am-1pm | Downtown Ellensburg

A quirky Ellensburg tradition, Buskers in the ‘Burg is a must-see event that takes place downtown every September. Celebrating buskers of all kinds, this festival invites musicians, aerial artists, magicians, and other street performers to share their acts with us! The crowd-favorite attraction each year is the Arts Parade, which features giant, hand-made puppets wandering through the streets for your entertainment and admiration. Created by Blue Bear Puppet Lab, these larger-than-life characters feature intricate detail and make this event all the more unique. You can also expect to find plenty of activities for the kids, as well as visit the Ellensburg Farmers Market which occurs from 9am-1pm.

Fall Festival at The Patch

Thursdays-Sundays, September 24-October 30 | 10am-4pm | The Patch

Celebrating 10 years of fun on the farm, The Patch puts on a wonderful Fall Festival each year. Located just minutes from downtown Ellensburg, this 36-acre family-owned farm features a pumpkin patch, corn maze, petting zoo, and so much more. Plus, you can get your lumberjack on with a brand-new activity this year: axe throwing! Be sure to also visit The Silo Café, the farm’s on-site restaurant, to indulge yourself or do a little fall shopping in the farm store.

Ellensburg Farmers Market

Every Saturday through October | 9am-1pm | Downtown Ellensburg

Every Saturday through October, the Ellensburg Farmers Market will bring dozens of vendors to the streets of downtown Ellensburg for your shopping enjoyment. This lively market is a beloved local tradition that brings fresh produce, baked goods, and fine handcrafted products to shoppers. Some popular vendors sell macarons, handmade kitchenware, bath and body products, fresh flowers, textile pieces, and specialty wines. The Ellensburg Farmers Market is always a big hit and a wonderful way to begin your morning in Ellensburg. Join in on the farmers market fun from 9am to 1pm every Saturday, May through October!

Music on the Dodge

The oldest farm winery in the Kittitas Valley, Thrall and Dodge Winery is a wonderful destination for wine tastings, scenic views, and live music! During Thrall and Dodge’s Music on the Dodge series, you will enjoy an intimate evening of wine and live music outdoors in Ellensburg’s beautiful countryside. Fiberfest in the Valley

Saturday, October 1 | 9am-4pm | Kittitas County Event Center

The Kittitas County Sheep Producers invite you to join in on a day of celebrating sheep, wool, and other natural fibers at the second annual Fiberfest in the Valley! Visit the Kittitas County Event Center on Saturday, October 1, to find sheep on exhibit, sheep shearing demos, a fleece show and sale, a vendor show full of artisan-crafted woolen goods and yarns, fiber processing equipment, a used equipment sale, workshops, and more. Admission is free!

First Friday Art Walk

The First Friday of the Every Month | 5-7pm | Downtown Ellensburg

The Ellensburg First Friday Art Walk showcases a variety of art forms on a monthly basis. Hosted by galleries and non-traditional spaces around town, you’ll find yourself in local wine bars, museums, clothing boutiques, and other fun locations in Ellensburg. This event honors local artists and their work and allows participants to tour our historic downtown as they stroll from venue to venue to enjoy the art on display. Along the way, you’ll enjoy visual and performing arts, including paintings, sculptures, live music, and more!

Junk-tiquen in the ‘Burg

Saturday, October 15 | 9am-4pm | Kittitas County Event Center

Holding its show every spring and fall in Ellensburg, Junk-tiquen in the ‘Burg is a favorite event for lovers of antique or hand-made goods. It was even named one of Flea Market Decor’s ‘Top 12 Flea Markets in the U.S.’! Join in on this day of shopping for antiques, up-cycled junk, jewelry, pillows, signs, vintage finds, and more. Tickets are $5 at the gate and parking is free!

The city of Kittitas hosts its annual Trunk or Treat event, which involves the decoration of vehicles in fun ways!
