Lucky me—I got to visit another new hotel in Ellensburg, Washington! Why do we have so many cool hotels, you ask? Well, it’s because Ellensburg is such an amazing travel destination, attracting visitors eager to explore its unique charm and attractions year-round.
This time, I get to tell you about TownePlace Suites by Marriott, one of the best hotel choices in Ellensburg. What a welcome addition to our community! I’m writing this not just for tourists, but for all the locals who might be looking for a delightful staycation in Ellensburg or a recommendation for visiting friends and family.
Check it out—they have incredible customer service, a cornerstone for tourism in Ellensburg. From the moment you step inside, the decor sets a modern and cheerful tone, making you feel right at home. The lobby is especially inviting, with cozy little vignettes perfect for relaxing before heading out to explore the town or unwind after a day of adventure.
Now, let’s talk about the rooms: they are bright, cheery, and designed with a cool color palette that feels both soothing and invigorating. I stayed in the one-bedroom suite, which was spacious and comfortable. It included a cute mini kitchen equipped with all the gadgets you might need if you decide to cook a meal or extend your stay—offering convenience much like a VRBO in Ellensburg.
For those familiar with my blogs, you know I have a few must-haves in a hotel room. Does TownePlace Suites in Ellensburg pass the test? Absolutely! Here’s what I found:

Last but not least…the bar, Blu Bar, to be exact. If you love hotel bars as much as I do, Blu Bar is undoubtedly a highlight of your Ellensburg visit. The bar is not only spacious and welcoming, but also offers excellent seating for groups and solo visitors alike. They have a full bar menu and showcase some great local wines from the Ellensburg region, highlighting the area’s rich wine culture. The menu features delicious flatbread, burgers, and more. I enjoyed a flatbread—it was YUMMY! Don’t miss the wings my companion loved—they’re simply delicious!
The bartender was top-notch, crafting a perfect dirty martini with expertise that impressed. I will definitely return just to hang out in this vibrant bar. They will soon be hosting events to attract both locals and visitors. So next time you’re driving through or need a new place to hang out in Ellensburg, I highly recommend heading out to Blu Bar.
